Self defence classes for Schools

The chance that you or a member of your family will be a victim of violent crime is low. However, the peace of mind to parents knowing that their child is learning how to equip themselves against violent crime is leading to the introduction of more and more structured self defence classes within schools.

As well as teaching students basic self defence techniques, the coaches of NMA Training also try to engage the students in regular discussions on how do avoid violent confrontations and how to stay safe.

  • Don’t take short-cuts through dark alleys, parks or across waste ground. Walk facing the traffic so a car cannot pull up behind you unnoticed
  • Cover up expensive looking jewellery and other items such as mobile phones
  • If you think someone is following you, check by crossing the street - more than once if necessary - to see if he follows. If you are still worried, get to the nearest place where there are other people
