Judo Classes for Schools
By 2010 all 5-19 year olds will be offered at least 5 hours of sport each week, which will comprise of at least 2 hours of high quality PE and sport at school. In addition they will also be encouraged to take part in at least a further 2-3 hours beyond the school day through community sport, for example judo.
With these strategies in mind and working with coaches from local judo clubs such as the Northbrook Kyu Shin Kai we are be able to introduce and conduct structured Judo sessions. Each school class and club is linked to the mother club of the resident coach and directly to the National Governing body for Judo in the UK (British Judo Association) under their Schools to Dojo programme
