Fire Warden or Fire Marshal Course
A one-day course designed specifically for those who have been appointed to carry out the duties of a Fire Warden or Fire Marshall. This training is grant approved by the CITB.
The syllabus includes:
- Fire Legislation
- The basic chemistry of fire and it’s differing classes
- Causes of fires and their prevention
- Fixed fire fighting installations
- Fire hazards
- Fire alarms
- Emergency lighting
- Risk assessment awareness
- Emergency assembly points and fire drills
- Routine fire safety inspections and maintaining a fire log
- Extinguisher recognition and use (theory and training)
